Side hustle 4: Online Surveys

Most people have likely participated in online surveys. While in my opinion they take a fair amount of time and the rewards tend to be small, they are yet again a way to earn some additional money. The advantage that online surveys can be done at any time anywhere whenever you have some time to spare.

I have been part of various panels for quite some time. Some are better than others in terms of time invested, topics of the surveys and rewards. Here an overview of some of the panels that I have been using to fill out surveys:

1. Flycatcher panel:

   • Pros:

     • interesting subjects

     • fair compensation

     • quarterly lottery to gain more points

• Cons:

  • Not so many questionnaires

2. Euroclix:

• Pros:

  • frequent questionnaires to fill out

  • the more points you save the bigger the reward

  • Sign-up bonus of 3 Euros

  • option to participate in loteries to gain more points (albeit you need to use some of your points to participate)

  • also option to earn cashbacks (see side hustle 3: cash backs)

• Cons:

  • many questions are asked to determine whether you qualify which at times can result in spending a fair amount of time responding to questions and then you are informed that you do not qualify (although you do get 0,10 Eurocents/ 5 clix)

  • subjects of the questionnaires are not always interesting
