Side hustle 1: Selling items on market places

I believe we all have items in our house that are no longer being used, but that could still be very handy for other people. Selling items on market places like Facebook Marketplace, local market place groups or websites and other locations are a great opportunity to declutter your house, give items a second life and to earn some money.

I have been doing this for a long time and in the last few weeks I have sold a number of items ranging from books, children’s chairs, Lego, (video) games, an old Nintendo etc.

Today I sold a children’s game that someone came to collect at our house. I prefer to sell locally to avoid as much as possible the shipping of an item. This is both better for the environment and more cost effective for both parties.
